At this event, we introduce two innovative bachelor’s programs: the Bachelor of Arts in European Studies (BAES) and the Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability (BASUS). These programs are offered as international joint degrees within UNA Europa, an alliance of leading European universities dedicated to promoting new forms of joint teaching and learning across Europe. 

BAES and BASUS stand out for their interdisciplinary and problem-oriented approaches. Both focus on current social challenges – European integration and sustainable development – and ways of addressing them within the context of global transformation processes. 

A key feature of both programs is their strong emphasis on international mobility. Students have the opportunity to study at various UNA partner universities throughout Europe, acquiring sound academic knowledge, diverse intercultural experience, and a distinctively European profile. 

The event will provide an overview of the programs’ content, structure, and application procedures, along with the opportunity to ask questions. Additionally, we will share information on other opportunities for UZH students to gain international experience through UNA Europa.
